AMERICAN SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL ESTIMATOR RECOGNITION OF THE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL ESTIMATOR |
|
|
SOCIETY BYLAWS With such diversity of backgrounds, the development of programs for both education and Certification of Professional Estimators has been a demanding and rewarding process. The foundation upon which these programs have been and continue to be built is the premise that for all the varied disciplines or levels of detail, the fundamental principles of construction cost estimating remain universally applicable. Beyond these fundamentals, however, lie the realms of varied disciplines which make construction estimating one of the most unique, challenging, and fulfilling professions an individual may pursue. ASPE Certification is the highest form of professional recognition an individual estimator can receive and is being sought by more construction estimators every year. Through it’s Certification Program, the American Society of Professional Estimators will attest to the estimating proficiency and ethical awareness of the Certified Professional Estimator. The object of this Society shall be: To further the recognition of construction estimating as a professional field of endeavor; To promote education and contribute to the betterment of the construction industry; To observe and promote ethical standards of conduct; To establish and publish standard construction estimating practices; To administer a certification program by which professionalism in construction estimating and adherence to these standards is recognized.
